This year Langstane Housing Association are proud supporters of the Great Global Clean-up, a worldwide campaign to remove billions of pieces of trash from neighbourhoods, beaches, rivers, lakes, trails, and parks — reducing waste and plastic pollution, improving habitats, and preventing harm to wildlife and humans.
Our ‘Earth Day’ team, comprising of Jennifer, Samantha and Hayleigh, took to the surrounding areas of the head office in Aberdeen and nearby John Barbour Court to support the great global clean-up.
So you can do your bit to ‘Invest in Our Planet’ why not check out these actions and tips to make a difference throughout 2022:
- Switch to re-usable bags;
- Use a re-usable water bottle;
- Practice sustainable fashion;
- Skip plastics and buy glass or paper products;
- Turn off the lights when not in use; and
- Use environmentally friendly cleaning products.
